Chris Newport, MS, RDN/LDN, EP-C, CISSN is a registered dietitian nutritionist who’s been training people in the sports nutrition for over a decade.
She believes there’s an athlete in all of us and in the power of real, high quality food.
Chris started her journey as a personal trainer, then went back to college to become a registered dietitian. While in school, she was able to work in the Meredith College Human high-performance laboratory, gaining a valuable understanding of exercise physiology and fitness testing.
She’s got the unique educational background and experience to see how quality nutrition fits together with all other aspects of a healthy lifestyle for personal high performance.
Her specialties include coaching and nutrition for endurance athletes, general fitness, weight management, cardiovascular health, balanced living, food sensitivities and intolerances. She also provides medical nutrition therapy for active individuals with unique and common issues such as diabetes, pregnancy, lactation, anemia, food sensitivities, fructose malabsorption, celiac disease, hypothyroidism, and much more.
Chris has a balanced approach that shines through with all those she works with.
