Joe Mannion
Neuroscience & Collaborative Training
Sneak Preview
Joe Mannion, MS, is grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the performances and lives of diverse clients, from athletes and coaches to entrepreneurs and hedge fund managers, in his consulting practice, AllWorld Performance, LLC. To stay current, he embraces a scientist–practitioner approach and has presented at international conferences on a range of topics, including mindfulness, neuroscience, best practices, and using sport psychology and brain basics to enhance executive performance. Joe has also teamed up with coauthors in these areas, including for edited chapters in an authoritative Cambridge University Press text ("Mindfulness & Performance") and, forthcoming, the first mindfulness chapter in the most widely used graduate sport psychology textbook.
Regarding training, a lifelong learner, Joe is a doctoral student in the clinical psychology program at Pepperdine University and will be starting his final year as an intern at Wake Forest University. He has also completed 2 years of specialized neuropsychology training, including at the Sports Concussion Institute in Los Angeles. Previously, he completed his Masters degree in sport psychology at Georgia Southern University (2003) and spent an extra year of training in clinical sport psychology at Victoria University in Australia. In addition to his consulting practice and publishing, he has taught sport psychology as an adjunct at two universities.
Regarding collaboration, Joe meets clients where they are at, beginning by exploring strengths, where they are, where they want to be, and identifying what's getting in the way. He enjoys connecting on social media (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook consulting page) and invites you to contact him directly to explore collaborative fit and how he may contribute value to your journey. Another option, Joe has partnered with one of the most popular online sports training platforms to create a highly innovative, web-based mindfulness program for athlete and "executive athlete" performance and well-being.
